We are in Utrecht now. It is very hot and humid. Everything closes at 6pm even most restaraunts. I slept after Rodney left for work then I went to the gym and a personal trainer helped me on the equipment, then I went swimming. We went out and got lost again. We can't find a converter anywhere here. Rodney is going to stop by the airport tomorrow while he is out at a job site. I was finally able to get on a webcam and see the kids and Caryl. They could also see us. What a remarkable device the webcam is. Don't know when I will be back online with the webcam since we have to charge Rodney's computer batteries but have no way to do that at the moment. Maybe he can find a transformer tomorrow. Will try to post tomorrow. Write back if you get a chance. Would love to hear from everyone. Love to all.

I am here in Amsterdam. We checked into our hotel around 1pm. This is such a beautiful city. I am going to try to post some pictures to my site. We miss all of you. It is almost 12 midnight here and I will be online for about 1 hr 10 minutes. This means I will be online till 7:15 your time. Hope to find someone online tonight. Want be able to get back online until monday due to the high cost in the hotel unless we can find a service in a shop

Only 15 hours to go. I can't sleep. I think everything is ready. We just got done drying my hair after Rodney colored it. I can't wait to see how things are done in other countries!!! I hope to come back with lots of history info. Again, thanks Caryl and Rick for watching our kids. You have made this possible and one day I would like to return the favor. I will keep up with my blog and try to post pictures once I figure out how. See everyone in about 2 1/2 weeks.

I am getting so excited. Hope started yesterday saying she did not want me to go. I hate guilt trips. I will miss my kids and friends so much but I will be able to share with each of you as I travel. We have just about gotten VBS under control. It will be such a fun week next week. This will help my 2 weeks go by quicker. Pray that I keep my head together and continue to heal so I can remember my trip. Journey soon!!!!!!

We have our PASSPORTS!!!! Found out we need an international drivers license, Can get one at AAA. We will be on our way soon. Getting very excited now.
